Classroom Observation and consultation Terrance Hollingsworth MTE/501 July 23, 2012 Jim Lothschutz Classroom Observation and Interview I was deep tasked to observe a find outer or teachers inside an unfeigned trainroom. I had the greatest experience because alone the teachers that I spy were excited about sharing their companionship about the manikinroom. I had the perfect opportunity to see what plant life and what does non within the syllabusroom. The first class was Shalonda Hollingsworths third association classroom. The classroom was organized and also had enough space for the students to break down around. The kids entered the class a bit noisy, scarcely they settled when she went to the board. They field of battle was math and the students were answering questions and solving problems. The students were motivated and disciplined to welcome the outstrip education. There was also a list of rules the students had to keep up or they would be discipl ined. I asked Mrs. Hollingsworth to explain her goals about teaching. She was genuinely upcoming and firm in her belief that she motiveed to enamour children from all walks of life to be the best possible person. She verbalise that she did non believe that she should just teach the curriculum, she needed to teach her students to invite morals and convictions.

I was not trying to be smart, tho I asked how was she going to do this? Her response was that she could meditate the word of honor to kids but she could teach the principals of right and wrong. I also spy a first grade class in the Covington County instill District and the atmosphere was tota! lly different. The teacher Mrs. Collins explained that her kids were not model students because this was their first real school environment. She stated that programs such as head start and pre-school do not assemble a student for real school, so the adjustment introduce is a little longer.
