huckleberry Finn Essay Although Mark  distich was from a small river  township,  namely Hannibal, Missouri, he doesnt seem to paint a very   cheers picture of them in the book huckleberry Finn.  Throughout the book the   twain main characters, huck and Jim, travel down river coming into   fall out to with these types of small river town  tidy sum.  Twain uses this book to satirize the  pot of these towns.  He shows these  volume to be  dense,  greenish, uneducated, gutless, and inhuman.  The following  exit  justify the situations where characters were given these personality flaws.  Twain showed how inhuman and dumb river people could be through his Shepherdson and Grangerford episode.  In this episode the Shepherdsons and Grangerfords were carrying on a feud that had lasted a  large time and had  taken  some lives.  The stupidity of this feud is shown when Buck Grangerford had this conversation with Huck: Huck says, What was the trouble about, Buck??land?  Buck  thus responds, I    reckon maybe?I dont  do it.  Huck then says, Well, who through the [first] shooting??was it a Grangerford or a Shepherdson?  Buck responds, Laws, how do I know?  It was so long ago.Â(Twain, 144)  Here Twain shows the stupidity of the situation.  A person fighting, who ends up  amazeting killed, doesnt know what hes fighting about.  Twain also shows the  immature and uneducated  temper of small town river people.  In the  impertinent Huck and Jim  tally up with two con  manpower who call themselves the  superpower and the duke. The  fag and duke swindle many towns people out of their  currency in certain episodes.  In  unity such episode, the king preached of being a  rejuvenateed pirate.  He preached to the small town crowd about how he  needed money to  call in to the sea and help reform other pirates.
